  • Martin, I will have my neighbor look at the press kit and see if he will connect with you. He is an aspiring actor and artist, and there are always tons of 'crew' and others over at his place. I have got to stay focused on creating a business plan for my own business. It has been three years that I have been working word of mouth without one, and I want to get it to the next level. I promise i will let him know, though!

Take care, and thanks for your help again!
  • Thank you Martin and after 20 years in the area, I FINALLY decided to Officially " get with the program. I have Lots of projects pending - - TV - Independent - and Web based productions as well. Look forward to meeting with you soon. I promise to get involved more with CFF.
  • Good morning, Martin

It is a painting and thanks for the compliment. I will attend the event.

    It's nice to be here!!

  • Hi Martin,
I can help give some exposure for up coming events. I own the Gold River Community Newspaper and ONE Community eNewspaper.
Usually what works best is one or two photos with people in them then a caption. A very short article.
You can contact me for anything else. You can also use my email grcommunitynews@sbcglobal.net. Ask for a reply

  • How did the 48hr event go?

And as for the Red... I am open for projects involving my Red kit. Paid gigs would be nice:) But I there is an interesting experiment or project someone has, and the style or content fits my interest, I would be open for "indie" work as well.

I have a Red, O'Connor 1030 head and sticks, constant F2.8 glass in 11-16mm, 16-50mm and 50-135mm as well as a 50-500mm F4.3-5.8. Matte Box (and next week) 4x5.65 filters covering .3, .6, .9, 1.2 and IR Cut. I also plan on getting a a set of horizontal graduated ND's, but am undecided on what values to get. I can run on house power or batteries for about 2 hours, which should allow the other batteries to recharge. So "almost" continuos running, including the ability to hot swap batteries. I don't have a sound kit, but may be picking up a Sanken lav for interviews.

Keep me in mind if someone has a need. And see some of you at the FCP UG next Wednesday.
  • I look forward to learning from you.
  • Sorry - I ran out of room (I'm long winded! lol). I would be happy to share my experience in fundraising with you if you think it will help you out.
  • Hi there Martin:

I was the C.F.O. for the Capital Crossroads Gay Rodeo Association here in Sacramento for 5 years and Rodeo Director for 2 years. I planned, produced, and Emceed numerous fundraisers including: Slave Auction, Barn Dance (Internationally Attended), Cowboy Bingo, Royalty Pagent, Christmas Party, Miss. Sacramento Trailer Trash Pagent, and The Sierra Stampede Rodeo and Festival. Proceeds from all my events were donated to local Sacramento Charities. In addition I was Assistant Director for 2 years of the Lambda Freedom Fair - Sacramento's Gay Pride Celebration.
  • Why, thank you, Martin. Unfortunately, this weekend I have an imrpov show (with ICUP at BlueRoom Lounge (icupcomedy.com)), and the filming for the video. Well, it's not at all unfortunate that those things are happening, just unfortunate that the timing is such I won't be able to get my 48 Hour jam on!! I'm also working myself up for casting a webseries next week (JM3Films.com)!!
  • Martin,

I was thinking about it, but Tim Walton, the director on the doc I am working on wants to shoot in Squaw Valley tomorrow since the snow might be getting thin soon.

Depending on how the shoot goes tomorrow, I might be available Sunday if there is something I can assist on, keep me in mind.

    Scott
