About me - current project:

My current project centers around the controversy of black women and their hair insecurities. It's bases revolves around a group of friends that all have similar emotions when it comes to doing and styling their natural hair; which women in todays black community can attest too. With motivation, solidarity and trust the group of women overcome their fears to show case their natural beauty. 

This project is very personal for me. Growing up I was not fond of doing my natural hair. It was too thick, too nappy, and hard to maintain. I realized I was uneducated is my natural hairs texture which was causing my break down and broken ends. With help from friends I was able to accept my hair and use different products and methods to restore my hairs healthy state. I am also currently a podcaster.
