    My current Project Title:

    Canterbury Trails

    I describe myself as a

    Fan of film

    About me - current project:

My current project is a feature-length comedy screenplay, "Canterbury Trails". My background as a high school cross-country runner and later as a coach inspired the creation of Canterbury Trails. Some of my fondest memories come from those winding trails and the mischief that unfolded along the way. The logline is as follows: "When a disgraced high school cross-country coach is transferred to a struggling school, he must inspire a ragtag group of runners to believe in themselves and work as a team to defeat his former championship squad." This heartfelt sports comedy follows a disgraced coach and a ragtag team of runners as they stumble—physically and emotionally—toward redemption. Set against a cross-country backdrop, the story blends ensemble-driven humor with themes of second chances, self-acceptance, and unconventional teamwork. What sets Canterbury Trails apart is its irreverent wit balanced with genuine heart. Think The Bad News Bears in running shoes—chaotic, funny, and unexpectedly moving. It speaks to anyone who's ever felt like the last one across the finish line. Writing Canterbury Trails has been a joy, and I believe it has potential not only as a film but also as a TV series exploring new tales from the trails (I have much more to tell!).

    Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:

Canterbury Trails has won 7 screenwriting awards and has been selected as a finalist for several others.
