About me - current project:

As a filmmaker being active in the Bay Area for over 20 years, I launched my video production business in 2008 with the vision of bringing visual storytelling to small businesses and corporations, while also catering to individuals with need for video. In 2024 I was invited to document a first of its kind Kosher Soulfood popup at a Southern California restaurant for multi award winning author and culinary historian Chef Michael W. Twitty, based on recipes from his book Koshersoul. What started out as a promotional piece for future such popups ended up being a documentation of the vibrant energy and hard labor that went into creating such an elaborate undertaking. The piece titled "KosherSoul -The Plate is Your Flag" captures this energy and showcases how this event brought restaurant goers, diners and foodies of all backgrounds together to share at the table, not only meals, but stories and cultural experiences. KosherSoul is currently making its rounds at the festival circuit.
