About me - current project:
The anagram "Gholzt" is employed as the artistic name of Grieco Holtz Reis Rabelo, a talented screenwriter, filmmaker, and journalist of Brazilian descent. Gholzt is a young enthusiast of the arts, particularly of narrative art. He grew up without siblings or close cousins until the age of six, a period during which he developed a sharp critical sense and a unique worldview, absorbing stories through reading, observation, and listening. This early immersion endowed him with a peculiar skill, granting him a natural inclination for storytelling. Additionally, his eclectic inclination towards various subjects allows him to perceive the world as a kaleidoscope, where the diversity of knowledge manifests in its entirety.
Project:
The Earth is facing a critical period, with tensions rising in every corner of the globe and conflicts escalating both internally and among neighboring nations. While technological advancements bring benefits, the negative impact on the environment and society creates civil unrest, especially in developed nations. In this context, the world is inexorably moving towards permanent fragmentation and a potential nuclear catastrophe.
In the United States of America, a group calling themselves the New Order operates in the shadows, engaging in trafficking and corruption across different parts of the system in various countries around the world, infiltrating various layers of society. When the presidents of major nations announce imminent wars, the group executes its plan to stop them. They initiate a major operation by developing an artificial intelligence to wipe out virtual data. Simultaneously, they stage various bank heists to distract local police forces, while other members of the group access key servers of the global internet. By implanting the artificial intelligence in these servers, the internet is suddenly shut down, affecting all devices connected to it. Only two analog television channels, channels 9 and 11, remain on the air, allowing the United States to communicate again with its population, using televisions with satellite dishes in locations such as bars and supermarkets.
Meanwhile, in a quiet and remote location in Maine, two retired CIA agents, Rick and Johnny, lead peaceful lives, contributing to the local community through festivals, barbecues, and supplying provisions. However, with the global disruption of the internet, Rick begins to receive cassette tapes, recorded by the self-styled "The Presenter," which reveal scandals and unmask the credibility of the media, exposing the group's past missions to which Rick and Johnny belonged. As more tapes arrive, Rick and Johnny decide to take action on their own.
