About me - current project:

I directed, produced, and edited "Into the Valley," a 22 minute short film project based on the book by Ruth Galm, adapted by Emily Somers. I'm a filmmaker, photographer, and actor. I'm also the owner of Loft 1923, a 4100 SQ FT production space in Downtown Los Angeles. I'm the Vice President of ASMP-LA (American Society of Media Photographers), and member of APA-LA, Women in Film, and SAG-AFTRA. I have a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Boise State University.

Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:

"Into the Valley" premiered at LA Shorts International Festival in July 2023, and will be screening at the Oscar Qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival in August. My min-doc "El Mirage" will premiere at Auto Moto Film Festival in Fall 2023. My directorial debut “Finding Sky” won Best Director and Best Actress at the American International Film Festival. The feature also won the Sir Edmund Hillary Award at the Mountain Film Festival. “Salton” which I wrote, directed, edited, and produced won Best Short Film at the Borrego Film Festival. Most recently, two of my photos were chosen in American Photographic Artists' "Off the Clock" Exhibition competition, in which 100 images from 1100 submissions were chosen as winners by Darius Himes, the International Head of Photographs at Christies.
