Bryan Mackenzie was born on November 28th, 1982 in Boksburg, South Africa. He is a writer, director and editor, known for The Fall (2019), which received several festival nominations.

Bryan is deeply invested in the growth of the local film community. He spends his time working as a colorist and editor for local independent film productions, most notably ChefNSacramento (2019), Love, Life and the pursuit of Comics (2019) and The Fall (219) of which all have received festival awards. His passion for creation started in a small Wisconsin based independent game studio, where he worked his way up from gameplay engineer to technical director. Currently based in Sacramento, California, Bryan now works as a graphics software engineer, delivering leading-edge features for next generation hardware and software.

The most recent project is "Renewal" a film aimed at providing a hopeful message that things will be okay, we will be okay.
