About me - current project:

Alec Douglas is an multi award winning filmmaker from the Bay Area. Ever since he was young, he showed great interest in films and later on was inspired by the 2011 film, Drive, to make movies on his own. As filmmaker, Alec wishes to make innovative films that feel grounded in reality and can make people entertained with stories that can make you feel many emotions. Pulling inspiration from his favorite films and incorporating elements from life. All while showing off the beautiful California haze he grew up in. His latest project, Goin' Up, is about the following logline: "set in the near future, a young man joins a team of criminals to rob a bank so he can reunite with the love of his life on a wealthy colonized station on the moon". The film is a thrilling short that will grip you from beginning to end, but leave you thinking about the state of the world we live in long after it's over.
