It was a dark cold night in December of 1865 when Dr. Godfrey Codfish thought he'd fina
lly discovered the fabled Fountain of Youth...
His travels had taken him to a witch doctor, deep in the heart of Haiti where he discovered a potion that appeared to bestow magical powers to its subject. But when he returned to the U.S. he found that the eternal life came at a price. You see, the spirit didn't exactly decay but the body did. Only the blood of the living could temporarily slow down the rotting process.
A Zombie menace quickly ensued... a menace so strong it threatened to devour the land. A clockworkand steam army was hastily amassed to combat the Zombie hoards.
It is not clear who ultimately prevailed that cold cold winter but we did find one apparent antidote which renders the Zombies harmless...BEER!
So, on April 20th, following the 48 Hour Film Festival, let us drink!!
