The Sacramento Film Awards (AKA The Charlies) is the ultimate recognition of regional and international filmmaking excellence in Northern California. Since 2005, the Sacramento Film Awards has honored cinema artists for their craft in a fun and exciting environment.

On August 31st 2025, the California Film Foundation (CFF) presented the Sacramento Film Awards for our annual SUMMER SESSION. The event was held at the beautiful California Railroad Museum in fantastic Old Sacramento.

While not every film wins a Charlie, SFF/CFF honors ALL our selected filmmakers and contributors! As an "OFFICIAL SELECTION" you are ALL winners!
This year's Awards show honors outstanding work in multiple categories, including one special award recipient, The (Visionary Spirit).
