"A Play"  by Nino Mancuso

In this hilarious, tongue-in-cheek short film, two friends go to a play and realize just how terrifying supporting The Arts can be.  Mancuso's comedic short film "I Know Jack Gyllenhaal is Going to F**k My Girlfriend" has also received widespread acclaim in a number of high profile festivals.

"Hot Date"  by Julian Bozzo

This hilarious short will not only keep you laughing the entire time, but will have you rethinking your next potential "hot date".  Bozzo continually provides film with not just comedic value, but ones which are also directed and casted with excellence.

"The Blessing and the Curse"  by Cindy Wathen-Kennedy

A short documentary detailing the surprising and inspiring story of folk, Americana, and rockabilly musician Lance Canales, who rose from humble California Central Valley farmworker beginnings to prominence in the international music scene.  Perfectly placed in our NorCal All-Stars program, this documentary by a Northern Californian feautures another beloved artist who is a Californian native.

 "Coming Home"   by Mai Sharai

Animated film about a son who comes to his home town to visit his mother's grave during Obon Festival.  After his father interrupts him playing music, he hesitantly comes home.  Both reflect on the past and are able to share a meal as well as a bonding moment together.  Not only are the animations incredible, but a lot of cultural symbolism can be seen beneath the surface.

"When Life Gives You Oranges"  by Frances Wiese

In this funny and relatable short, lazy and apathetic 20-something-year-old barista meets her match when she winds up nanny to a sassy ten-year-old boy.  Bev and Jack make a perfectly dysfunctional duo which will have you laughing and rooting for them the entire time.

"What Could You Do"  by Mamie Jean Calvert

Excellently produced music video that respectfully tells the story of a "fallen" law enforcement officer.  The accompanying film is every bit as beautiful and heart-wrenching as the song and the story behind it.
