CINE SOUL FEATURE PREMIERE: BROOKLYN

Coralie (Kt Gorique) is a young aspiring rapper who leaves her home in Switzerland for the big city. She arrives in Paris for her big shot at Hip Hop music. She’s hired as a cook in a local association in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis. There Coralie meets Issa (Rafal Uchiwa), the rising star of the hood.
Coralie is chosen to compete in a rap battle. Winner take all for the prize of greatest rapper in the streets. While training with feisty former contender, Yazid (Jalil Naciri), Coralie tentatively begins a relationship with Issa, as she is faced with the question to decide her destiny.
Plays with the animated short film, Over The Wall by David Saah of Ghana.
