Blare Media loves telling human stories, and especially stories that revolve around college students doing great things and having transformational experiences. When Fresno State asked us if we would be interested in capturing Fresno State Art students’ experiences as Edward O. Lund Foundation scholarship winners, we jumped at the opportunity.
Edward O. Lund Foundation scholarship winners represent some of the best art students at Fresno State. The foundation, named after Edward Lund, a beloved Fresno State gallery curator and exhibition technician, provides a select group of students an all-expenses paid trip to London to study classical and modern artwork housed there. In addition to visiting galleries and exhibitions, students get a greater sense of the world writ large that only time spent in a vibrant metropolitan city like London can provide.
Account Executive and Senior Producer Joel Janecek produced and directed, Cinematographer Mauricio Tapia shot the interviews and broll, and Chris Lofing helped execute a touching edit. This educational video piece played live at the foundation’s annual fundraiser and was very well received. We were not only proud of how it came out, the warm reception it received at the annual fundraiser, but how it showcased these wonderful students and the beauty of their artistic journeys.
