Writer/Director Lily Mariye's first feature film, "Model Minority", is about Kayla Tanaka (Nichole Bloom), who is 16 and half-Japanese, half-white, but totally American. The film features Chris Tashima in a supporting role, as Kayla's father. We talked with Chris about the film, his role, and working with Lily.
