Thanks To All for SFF 2010

On behalf of the Sacramento Film Festival and California Film family I'd like to extend a sincere "thank you" to everyone involved in the just concluded festival.

It was an amazing ten days in which we saw awe inspiring art from truely accomplished filmmakers. In addition, we learned more about the craft with cutting edge workshops and conversations from some of the industry's best and brightest. Our commitment to these visionary artists and to the film going community was recognized this past week with record turnouts exceptional media and truely appreciative audiences.

Thank you again to all who participated: ticket buyers, film makers, speakers and guests. You all showed what an amazing event Sacramento can host and what we can do collectively. Of particular note was the Digital Odyssey conference which discussed new methods of marketing and new ways to conceptualize your film/product. Going in, organizers were unsure how our community might take such a track or if it would even resonate. I'm proud to say that not only did audiences and filmmakers buy in, they have since asked me for much more. In the coming weeks we'll be making announcements regarding how filmmakers can continue what we started at the "Film School 101" and "Digital Odyssey" workshops.
