Sacramento (2024) key still via Falco Ink

Sacramento,” which filmed at various locations around California’s capital city last spring, has been picked up by a distributor just days ahead of its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday.

Independent film distributor Vertical said the Michael Cera-starring road trip movie should be released to the public sometime later this year.

The film was directed and co-written by Michael Angarano, who also stars in it alongside Kristen Stewart and his real-life fiancée Maya Erskine.

The movie follows two friends on a spontaneous road trip from Southern California to Sacramento.

The film is approximately 84 minutes long and is competing in the Tribeca Film Festival’s US Narrative Competition.
