Emmy Award winner Edie Falco reunites with Nurse Jackie director Brendan Walsh for the upcoming indie comedy I’ll Be Right There. I’ll Be Right There finds Falco starring as a woman who is just trying to care of everyone in her life...including her pregnant daughter, her struggling mother, and her complicated son. You can check out the official synopsis for the movie below.

“In this heartwarming yet hilarious film, Wanda (Edie Falco) finds herself juggling the complexities of life: her pregnant daughter's wedding plans, her mother's health concerns, her son's uncertain future, and her own romantic dilemmas. As Wanda navigates through these challenges, she discovers that taking care of everyone else leaves little time for herself, even though she's not sure what she would do with it if she had it.”

Directed by Brendan Walsh (Nurse Jackie) and featuring an ensemble cast I’ll Be Right Therestars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos), alongside Oscar nominee Jeannie Berlin (The Fabelmans), Charlie Tahan (Ozark), Independent Spirit Award nominee Kayli Carter (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Michael Rapaport (Only Murders in the Building), Michael Beach (Dahmer), Sepideh Moafi (Black Bird) and Emmy winner Bradley Whitford (The Handmaid’s Tale).

"We are delighted to bring this funny and relatable film to audiences nationwide," said Michelle Shwarzstein, CEO of Brainstorm Media. "Edie Falco leads a terrific ensemble cast who deliver performances that will both make you laugh and warm your heart."

I’ll Be Right There Is Due to Be Released This Fall

I'll Be Right There reunites Edie Falco with director Brendan Walsh, known for their collaboration on Nurse Jackie, and features a script by Jim Beggarly (Free Samples). Director Brendan Walsh discussed his reunion with Falco, saying...

“Working with Edie has always been such a pleasure and it was such an honor to direct this project and partner with her again. She was the first to set and the last to leave, and all cast, crew and producers were inspired by her energy and creativity.”

Falco, meanwhile, is excited that the indie comedy will now be released theatrically, saying she is “incredibly proud” of the movie that she and the rest of the cast and crew have made.

“I am thrilled that Brainstorm will be releasing this film theatrically and audiences will get to see it with friends and family. From the time that I first read Jim’s script and was able to bring Brendan on-board to direct, it was just a matter of lining up great friends, a nimble crew and building a terrific film family to show how you can love your family even when you can’t always live with them. I am incredibly proud of this movie.”

I'll Be Right There was produced by Block and Neal, Bradley Ross, Walsh, Ross Meyerson, co-produced by Samantha Cocozza, and was executive produced by Falco and also Jesse Eisenberg who developed the script with writer Beggarly. The film is a production of Open Swim, Tiny Castle Films, and A Bigger Boat (The Persian Version), and was financed by City Boy Hands with the assistance of Universal Pictures International, which is distributing the film outside of North America.
