SACRAMENTO, CA — Since 2005, the Sacramento Black Film Festival, also known as Cine Soul, has stood as a beacon for African American cinema, earning an international reputation for showcasing stories of power, passion, and purpose. For over two decades, Cine Soul has celebrated world-class storytelling that amplifies the Black experience through film, culture, and community.
This year, Cine Soul sizzles with a 3-DAY SUMMER FESTIVAL inviting audiences to experience a dynamic showcase of cinema by Black creatives plus Q and As, parties, and much more!

The Rise of African American Women in California Politics is a feature length documentary film, which explores the significant contributions of African American women like Karen Bass (LA Mayor) and Kamala Harris (US Vice President) in leadership in the areas of politics, labor, and community activism in the Golden State.
