2025 marks a monumental milestone for the Sacramento International Film Festival (SIFF) as it celebrates its 30th anniversary!
This summer's session (yes there's a winter one too!) promises to be particularly awesome, showcasing a legacy of cinematic excellence, supporting a vibrant local film community, and offering unique opportunities for both filmmakers and audiences alike.
One of the key elements that makes SIFF so special is its dedication to showcasing exceptional cinema, both internationally and locally (as in Mark S Allen's, "Don't Answer"). The festival prides itself on being highly selective and accepting only the best films in all genres and of all lengths from around the globe. This commitment to quality is evident in the fact that it regularly features award-winning films, such as “PORCELAIN WAR” and “STRANGERS NO MORE”. Furthermore, this year's lineup includes the highly anticipated world premiere of "PRISONER OF WAR," which will debut at Sacramento's most amazing and unique venue, California Railroad Museum Theater on August 30th.
Beyond showcasing award-winning films, the Sacramento International Film Festival plays a vital role in nurturing the local filmmaking community.
