LA - POWER PANEL ON FINANCE @ AFM 11- 8-11

ScreenPlayLab's Studio Finance and Distribution panel at the American Film Market features a remarkable line up of speakers. It includes the president
of DreamWorks, the head of Fox domestic distribution, the head of Sony
Pictures worldwide acquisitions and the CFO of Summit Entertainment.
I'm the organizer and panel moderator. What hadn't been announced previously
is Universal president Jimmy Horowitz is joining the panel.

The purpose of the Studio Finance and Distribution panel is to discuss
what's working in studio film finance and distribution, which is 90% of the
film market. It's a fantastic opportunity for independent producers to learn
from the big studios what's working for them and how to make
independent
films
attractive for finance and distribution. The panel costs $40 and is
almost sold out. Even if you have an AFM pass you still need to RSVP with
AFM to reserve a seat in this session.
