Dear Martin,
In the Spotlight this
week are the 14th Annual FADE IN AWARDS (FADEIN),
delivering accolades, industry recognition, and career connections
to promising screenwriters and writer-directors in Beverly Hills,
California.
FADEIN was established to help talented emerging artists worldwide
gain recognition within the Hollywood community in order to begin
their careers as working filmmakers. Since their debut in 1996, the
Awards have garnered an impressive track record, having discovered
hundreds of writers and filmmakers who have gone on to make top-ten
box-office hits including WEDDING CRASHERS, TAKING LIVES,
BLADES OF GLORY, ADAM,
PERFECT STRANGER,
and CLAY PIGEONS.
The Grand Prize Winner receives a brand new laptop computer and an
all-expenses-paid trip to Hollywood to take
meetings with agents and managers, while category winners take home
cash prizes and script analysis by WGA writers. What's more, FADEIN
offers its winners an unprecedented support network, working with
its writers over the course of a year to bring their scripts up to
professional standards before making key industry introductions. Hollywood's
top agents, managers, and producers have become accustomed to
requesting FADEIN's selected scripts and films. http://www.fadeinawards.com

Hi, I created a
new website called On Spot News. It will feature incident news
videos and photos from all around the U.S. and Canada. I am currently
looking for news freelancers and storm chasers who
record police, fire, ems, and weather related video or who take
photos of such. I made the site so people could have one site to go
to and view such type of videos and photos. I have some plans in
store for freelancers of the site to receive special content and
features in the future. I am just getting this site lifted off so
if you are interested or just want to check the website out please
