My current Project Title:
Some Torches Don't Burn
About me - current project:
A native of Washington, D.C., Christopher Malcolm Reese is a graduate from Howard University's School of Communications film program. While a senior student at Howard, he shot his first film 'Tumbling Down', which would earn him in his senior year, Howard University's Paul Robeson Award for best undergraduate film of the year. His previous film, The Conversation, would receive Best Achievement in Directing (SoCal Film Festival 2014) AND Best Drama, Judges Choice at the Soul 4 Reel film festival for 2016. In addition to the North Carolina Black Film Festival, Some Torches Don't Burn has already been accepted into many other festivals for 2016, and continues to be successful in acceptances on the film festival circuit. Currently, Chris is working to edit his next project 'Carousel', and hopes to be filming his next project soon, where he will direct something in which he will also act - a first for him. Chris is also an actor trained on the stage, a standup comedian, an aikidoka, and a proud card carrying member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
