"High-arts" are being replaced by lower arts in America, as the public funding - such as the NEA Grants - dries out. Young can adapt and move on, but how about the rest of us?
Dear President Trump,
Please do not eliminate the National Endowment for the Arts. We must continue to fund, Fine Arts. Without them, our Culture will be poorer, juvenile and shallow.
Please, don't continue to contribute to the dumbing down of America!

Celik is a film writer, director, actor and producer. His previous films include "Moonlight Sonata"; "99%"; "Valiant"; "Ascent.Abyss.Apocalypse"; "Valentin Popov: FACE", which played at festivals and won awards.
His latest project is "The Traffick

Also trained as a scientist, Celik received his PhD. in biochemistry from UCLA (1977). His thesis is credited for his mentor Prof.Paul Boyer receiving the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1997.
Celik has been a Research-Associate at MIT, and a Faculty at UC Berkeley and UCLA.
